Given the global economic crisis, unemployment and anxiety and depression running rampant and limited money to go around for therapy and feel good sessions, wouldn’t it be wonderful to have  an easy and cheap antidepressant and anti anxiety drug at your fingertips?

I recently read an article by Jan Prince (NLP Comprehensive) where she talks about a method called EMI (eye movement integration derived from NLP EMRD (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) . EMI is basically a cross lateral eye movement that helps balance and integrate the left and right brain processes. Does any of this remind you of TFT (Thought Field Therapy) or EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) at all?

The process is simple:

Follow the movement of your finger while drawing and X with your finger, going up to the left and down to the right 8 times, then up to the right and down to the left.  Even a more powerful technique is to frame the EMI movement with a box around it.  After you do the EMI, simply put a box around it by starting top left, going to right, then down right and across to left and finishing the box with going up left.  This process activates and exercises the whole brain and all the rep systems.

Jan say she had used this technique for anxiety, depression, high stress situations, training and group interactions.  It is particularly good for stress and anxiety because the movement of the EMI breaks up the negative internal dialogue that is repeated over and over again.  Instead of focusing on the auditory/visual internal dialogue the brain begins to focus on the solution….The technique works wonder with groups where tempers flare up, once the technique is demonstrated group members do it very easily and it becomes a habit.

EMI is particularly good with personal issues and anxiety or depression.  If done when you first awake and before you get out of the bed and then as often as possible throughout the day, it works wonders to stop the anxiety and focus on a solution. It calms nerves.

The regulation of hypnotherapists in the UK is so lax that even a cat can become accredited, the BBC has found.

Note from the editor: Ok, we all know that cats are… hypnotic creatures. Now it seems that they can get certified for that!

Chris Jackson, presenter of Inside Out in the North East and Cumbria, registered pet George with three industry bodies.

Each one accepted a certificate from the non-existent Society of Certified Advanced Mind Therapists as proof of George’s credentials.

It follows a similar investigation by an American clinical psychologist.

Dr Steve Eichel suspected industry bodies in the US were not running checks on their members.

He said: “I felt I’d test my hypothesis and I did that by getting my cat certified by a number of the most prominent lay hypnosis organisations in the United States. It was a frighteningly simple process.”

In the UK, George was registered with the British Board of Neuro Linguistic Programming (BBNLP), the United Fellowship of Hypnotherapists (UFH) and the Professional Hypnotherapy Practitioner Association (PHPA).

The UFH welcomed the Inside Out investigation and admitted the mistake, which it said has since been corrected.

A PHPA spokesman said the organisation makes great effort to ensure every applicant is a fully-qualified hypnotherapist.

The BBNLP said it exists only to provide benefits to its members, not to check or certify credentials.

Its the same system that skyrocketed Jamie Smart’s product sales last summer with the famous launch of the”Conversational Belief Change Mastery” programe. The emails and the whole launch for that product was orchestrated by James Lavers himself, you can still visit that legendary launch page I think it is still online so you can see a live, full scale example of what the “Client Getter” system will teach you to do. I signed up for “Client Getter” immediately when I found out that James Lavers was the one who set up that campaign for Jamie Smart. (That was about February 2009)

For those you don’t know who James Lavers is, he is a brilliant marketer specializing in the personal growth industry. He is branding his skills under the name “Distance Persuasion”. You may have heard of other of his courses like Niche Tyrant, Pimp My Profits etc.

The course was  8 weeks long and it cost me back then £397 GBP. I remember that amount exceeded my paypal limit, so I had to make a special arrangement to send  money via bank wire transfer, so if that is tha case with you too, don’t hesitate to write to James and ask for alternative methods of payment.

The system takes you all the way from picking the right “niche” for you within your greater market, to creating a “diamond bullet”, a very high value report or video which you offer to your prospect clients for free in order to generate a hot laser target list, then you move on to setting up a special wordpress page from where you deliver a very precise methodic and effective launch for your product or services in way that builds momentum, anticipation and desire to buy. That makes the whole sales process effortless and very natural.

It is a step by step process and James explains everything very thouroughly. You get one teleconference call in the beginning of each week and one Q&A teleconference call by the end of each week. Because there are participants from all around the world, the call times are scheduled to fit everyone as best as possible. (That means that you may get one two of those calls at about 4 in the morning if you live  in Asia – but hey, don’t worry because even if you miss the calls everything is recorded so you can download the mp3 later. )

It does require effort from your part though if you really want to squeeze out 100% of  the “Client Getter” programe. It is not an autopilot method. You need to plan and think in every step of the process, create written reports,  audio and video for even greater effect to your prospect clients.

James also posts videos, tutorials and resources in a dedicated collectivex collaboration area where members of the programe can post questions, interact and help each other.

Client Getter 2.0 is a 4 week program, an updated and optimized version of the  previous course. For example, at the previous course alot of time was devoted to the technical aspect of setting up a launch (setting up autoresponders, coding landing pages, producing artwork covers for the special free reports etc). Now James has compiled a 3 disk set of tutorials covering all that and that believe me will save you lots of time. This time the course is open to even fewer people (we were just 20 people last time) as James intends to spend more one-on-one individual attention time with each of the participants.

I follow Jamie closely as all of his products are of high value and I am a happy and returning customer. I just ordered “Secrets of Hypnosis Collection with DVD Video” yesterday so I expect it to be delivered in a couple of weeks, since right now I am in Istanbul, Turkey.

I find the product variations in Salads eshop to be a bit confusing. I wish there was a product comparison page which would list what’s included and what’s not in each variation, in a convenient side by side list. Here we go:

I know that Jamie is not one of those guys who play marketing “tricks” so I was intrigued and I immediately clicked the link.To make a long story short, in the video Jamie Smart directs you to a special sales page with the discount price (which I must admit is huge and of course as you can guess I immediately took advantage of this incredible offer and ordered the product.

My guess is /* insider info */ that this offer is one of James Lavers’ marketing techniques that have skyrocketed  sales for Jamie in the last year. (For those who don’t know who James Lavers, he’s an internet marketer specialist on NLPers, therapists, coaches, actors, performers, singers etc. I will write more about him shortly as he is re-launching his “Client Getter Method” for NLPers, coaches, therapists and performers in general)

In my opinion, the visual aspect in any hypnosis product is the single most important aspect, as the subject is in trance and its the only way you can watch the way she responds to the whole hypnotic process. I wouldn’t go for the audio only version to save on money because the video part is crucial when it comes to hypnosis.

Well, I spent quite some time to sort out the different versions of Secret of Hypnosis, because as I said before the comparision is not so clear when you are browsing Salad’s eshop.

Do I recommend this product from Jamie Smart and Salad? Well, there’s nothing more that I can say other than that I’ve already ordered it for myself! So go and check it out for yourself.
